EPIPHANY

A MOMENT OF SUDDEN INSIGHT OR REVELATION

 

This project began with the idea of utilizing an assigned famous designer’s design philosophies to add to the O’More College of Art, Architecture & Design Hitch building. Dorothy Draper was more known as a decorator rather than an Interior Designer; however her work is much appreciated no matter her title. In combination with her aesthetic and environmental centered design philosophies, I created the concept of Epiphany. Much like the evolution of being a freshman student to a senior—the main idea is a journey from one point stemming off into different pathways that are connected to an endpoint, or an Epiphany moment reached within the creative thinking process.
