PURE WELL-BALANCED MIND ; BEAUTIFUL THINKING
A residential lot surrounded by many trees even featuring a pond, that was transformed into a commercial setting with added residential section. Located on 5292 Poor Hollow House Rd. in Franklin, TN it allowed the space needed to create a holistic treatment, wellness & retreat center for those (between the ages of 13-30*) that have low to moderate threshold for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) & Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). From much research, the overall goal was to have a place to teach those how to live with varying symptoms everyday by lessening stress —as they differ for each individual—as well as allow the ability to form resilience overtime from the help of different forms of bodily and mental therapy. Much is offered here to accommodate from water features, spa atmosphere, horse barn for animal therapy, creative studios, solarium, even including a short term program to stay in a residential house on the site to help strengthen the therapy as often there is a great disconnect within the residential setting to healing the body and mind.
